Individuals who would prefer to view our website with larger or smaller text can easily change the size by pressing the CTRL and + (plus) keys to zoom in or the CTRL and - (minus) keys to zoom out.

Alternative Formats/Borrowing Periods

  • Extended borrowing periods may be available for certain materials. Requests for extended borrowing periods may be directed to Library staff.

  • Thousands of electronic journals and eBooks are available with assistive technology built in such as the "Listen" feature. Simply click the "Listen" link and the article/ebook will be read aloud to you.

  • Streaming video is available with closed captioning from all Library subscribed vendors.

  • Disability services equipment such as digital voice recorders and laptops with assistive technology such as Kurzweil, Dragon, Naturally Speaking, Inspiration and Read & Write are available to borrow at the discretion of a school councellor.

  • Library owned print material will be provided in an appropriately accessible format upon request. Please see Library staff for more information.

  • Additional information and assistance with alternative formats and assistive technology is available through the Accessibility Serices Office. Accessible Content Forms

If you are a Sault College student/staff member with a perceptual disability* and require an alternate format of Library print material, please speak to Library Staff.

*A perceptual disability is defined as a disability preventing an individual from accessing the print material due to a visual impairment, physical disability or comprehension disability.
