Welcome to the Staff & Faculty Book Club

Welcome to Library Services and Indigenous Studies Book Club

Book club is an opportunity to read, discuss and, meet new friends and colleagues from the different departments in the college.  It is where hearts meet to share story, feast and grow.

Faculty/Staff Book Club

Staff & Faculty Book Club is back!

As we ease our way into storytelling season, Library Services and Indigenous Studies invites you to curl up with a good book and join us for discussion.

Book club meetings will happen twice a month starting at the end of January 2021 on MS Teams.

There are four amazing options for books to read by Indigenous authors. Including: Noopiming by Leanne Betasamosake Simpson, From the Ashes by Jesse Thistle, The Marrow Thieves by Cheri Dimaline and, Moon of the Crusted Snow by Waubgeshig Rice. Read more about each possible selection and participate in our poll on the library blog on our website to help us decide. Once our poll has closed we will let you know our selection, so you can purchase a copy.

We recognize that everyone has time constraints, so you are not required to attend every meeting. Join as many or as few as you would like.

Sign up any time with Amy Boyer Library Technician/ Indigenous Resource Officer amy.boyer2@saultcollege.ca
